(Siem Reap): His Excellency Heng Sour, Minister of Labor and Vocational Training, stated that starting from August 2024, civil servants, public officials, and organizations will be able to register as members of the National Social Security Fund (NSSF) by themselves through mobile phones or computers without the need for the presence of NSSF officers.
This statement was made during a dissemination ceremony titled "The Implementation of the Social Security Regime for Health Care under the Voluntary Contribution Scheme for Public Official Members of the NSSF" and "The Vocational and Technical Training Program for Youth from Poor and Vulnerable Families" at the Angkor Institute of Technology in Siem Reap Province on July 1, 2024, with over 600 participants.
His Excellency, the Minister's clarification signifies another new progress of the Royal Government in its 7th mandate, led by Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, who has considered the welfare of the citizens and civil servants by integrating modern technology for greater convenience.
