Cambodia, Philippines agree on strengthening cooperation in labour vocational training

The Minister of Labour and Vocational Training Heng Sour, and Flerida Ann Camille P Mayo, Ambassador of the Philippines to Cambodia, agreed to continue to strengthen cooperation in employment and vocational training for better and continued growth. The confirmation was made during a meeting between the two leaders on Wednesday at the ministry.

During the meeting, the two counterparts discussed the fruitful past cooperation that the two countries’ governments, through professional institutions, have implemented and achieved.

Sour emphasised that the government, through the ministry, is ready to promote cooperation between Cambodia and the Philippines in employment, social security, and vocational training to provide benefits to citizens successfully.

In addition, the Minister appreciated the remarkable development of relations and cooperation in all fields of the two countries, which created opportunities for cooperation in the field of labour and vocational training, which has helped to train and develop human resources in the workforce.

The ambassador praised the skilful leadership of Prime Minister Hun Manet, which has led to Cambodia’s rapid progress.

The ambassador thanked the Cambodian government, through the Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training, for facilitating Filipinos living and working in Cambodia.
